Mechatronics Engineer

Morse Micro is shaping the future of Wi-Fi technology for the multi-billion dollar Internet of Things markets. At Morse Micro you will be working with experienced professionals and engineers, some of whom are the team that invented the original Wi-Fi technology that is ubiquitous today.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Morse Micro evaluation kits
- Design test jigs to optimize and/or automate the assembly and testing processes for Morse Micro products
- Develop and design packaging solutions for various products
- Support R&D and Engineering in developing prototypes and verification/validation activities
- Draft electronic schematics and mechanical drawings
- Develop and maintain engineering and manufacturing documentation
- Write Python scripts to automate programming and testing procedures
- Troubleshoot technical issues relating to hardware, firmware and software
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
- Degree in Engineering specializing in Mechatronics/Electronics/Industrial Design or relevant certification.
- Experience designing electro-mechanical products, circuits and assemblies
- Experience programming efficient test scripts using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with CAD software such as Fusion 360 and Solidworks.
- Knowledge and experience of radio-communication technologies and/or IOT devices is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a fast-paced team, with priorities often changing.
- Strong ability to multitask, meet deadlines and handle pressure.
- “Can do” attitude and willingness to help in a variety of tasks, including occasional tasks unrelated to the core role.
